As a criminal defense attorney, I believe everybody should be treated fairly under the law and have their fair shot at equal justice. That's how we should treat everyone in our state -- with fairness and respect.
A first generation American, I've been in Vegas for 32 years.
My dad was a blue-collar worker who worked his way up to run food & beverage at the Las Vegas Hilton when it was the largest hotel in the world. But no matter how many times he moved up the corporate ladder, my dad never crossed a picket line and he never forgot where he came from.
My dad always made sure the guys on the docks were treated with fairness and respect and that's the attitude and work ethic I would like to bring to Carson City.
During my first session in the Nevada State Legislature, I'm proud to say that Democrats stood together, and worked to deliver on our promise of fighting for better schools, solar energy and the homeowners who have embraced it, and the rights of Nevadans from all walks of life.
Now that we're out of session and back from the capitol, I am still working hard for the voters in Assembly 21. I am here not only to fight for you during session, but I'm here to listen to it what will help the families and businesses of our district and our state.
I look forward to meeting with you, I look forward to talking with you and I hope that as we move toward 2018, I will earn your vote.
